This piece is a narrative performance designed to be experienced alongside the comic book as an audio-visual performance. I created it during the 2020 lockdowns as a way to expanding my definitions of theatre and performance to incorporate styles of immersive performance that can be experienced at home.

The Smoking Dog
I am the smoking dog!
A pack a day or my tail wont wag straight and my ears get stuck the wrong way round.
Don’t drop your fag ends around me
or ill gobble them up
And chase them with a book of matches
The world is your ash tray
And your ash tray is my bowl of kibble
Ooh! Is that a Marlboro Red?
Go on, give me a nibble.
I am the smoking doggie!
Pick up your cigs you bloody wally.
